Dubs, Photos, and a Fat Guy.

This is it. Do or die time. No turning back now. Once this gets posted on the internet I have no choice but to succeed. Let's do this.

My name is Daniel, I enjoy photography, beer, cars, and Disneyworld. I just got a job at Garnet Volkswagen, a sales position that I've waited a long time to get my foot in the door. I am a big guy, and have been for a while now. It is time to take everything in my life to the next level, to benefit of myself and those close to me.

I have no specific plan set for getting into shape, other than eating better and getting active. Some strength training, some cardio, some yoga? All I want is to keep it fun and challenging. Tomorrow I will weigh in and start with some workout action. I'm taking my wife, Heidi's, advice and not doing anything intense before my first day of work, so I'll just do some pushups and situps.

As for my job, I have been selling vehicles for about 9 months now. Prior to that I was in the service department, both as an advisor and a technician. I've been trying to get into Garnet VW for some time now, and finally have the opportunity to prove my worth, starting today. I have the tools that I need and a hot brand, so any success will be dependent on me.

As far as my other interests from earlier, I like to take pictures, drinking quality brews, and all things Disney parks. I plan on discussing all of these items throughout this journey of mine. In fact, I will take my camera into work today to get some shots of the store. My family also has a trip planned to WDW the week after Thanksgiving this year, which will hopefully be the culmination of everything I'm working towards currently. Lastly, I will provide insight on here of any interesting beverages I partake in.

So, thats it. Time to do work. If you're coming along for the journey, welcome. If not, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. I have no time for negativity or extra baggage (figuratively and literally) from here on out. Only positive thinking allowed in here. Alright, 7AM, time to get ready for work.

So it's been a good long while since I've been on here so here's a rundown of whats going on in Daniel world....

First off I have a new job! I work at Don Rosen Audi/Porsche as an Audi Service Advisor. It's a lot of hours and hard work but it's very rewarding.I got a new car as you can see above. Well not really new, just new-er. Its a sweet 20th Anniversary GTI.

I'm still with my beautiful girlfriend Heidi, and we are having a blast!

So really other than that things are the same. Still busy as ever but havin fun all the time!

Hello hello. Yeah so today was an alright day i suppose. It started out with me getting some free stuff from a body shop that we deal with at work, so that was cool (see the picture below). I actually got a car that i could make money on so that was good too. The best part of my day was talking to my love Heidi in China!! I love love looove her! Now i think i'm going to make some sort of meal to eat, but here's some pictures at land rover....

This is my lift. To the left is a detail bay and the wash bay, to right there are 5 lifts you cant see, and behind me there are 5 Jaguar lifts, 1 more Land Rover lift, an alignment rack and the emissions rack.

Okay so I've learned a few things today...that 74 degrees is too hot for me to sleep and 70 is too cold...72, thats the good stuff. Ive also learned that its possible to receive a text message sent alll the way from china (one of the best texts i've ever gotten)! I've learned that China has a massive firewall that prevents people from going to various sites (including but not limited to; any blogspot blogs, bbc.com, unitednationnews.com, wikipedia.com, etc). Interestingly enough I researched and found the solution to this issue on wikipedia. Finally i've learned that the love of my life is not only that, but also my best friend..and i miss her lots. but not to worry because thanks to the technology of today, i can not only talk to her on the phone, but email her, IM her, view her blog (hunanheidi.blogspot.com if you dont already know), and soon enough see her through her webcam! now they just need to work on "virtual hugs." oh well, i just gotta stay super busy until i can go over to china and see her! anywho, nothing else to report really, just another day. i think in a little bit i'll upload a video of expedition everest from disney! okay then, bye for now!

Well, I just dropped off my love Heidi at the airport. It was very cool that they let me go to the gate with her, a nice surprise! I was a bit of a mess earlier, but I'm okay now. Hopefully this next ten months or so will fly by!! Anywho, I know I havent updated with anything good in a while so here are some pictures from the past week and a few more disney ones...

Yes, with both of us being somewhat shutterbug-ish (nifty word, huh?), we have collected a plethora of pictures and a few videos. That's okay, the more the merrier. Anyways, it has truely been a blast so far....from the "free" $100 meals (I only say "free" because I paid for the alcohol, Disney paid for the rest), to the awesome rides, it's been amazing! Even with the occasional rain shower and the sticky heat, its worth it. We have a ton of pictures to sort through, but I'll put a select few up now...Cheers!

Okay, so maybe its not the worst in the world... after all, it was cheap, right? Anywho, we managed to safely arrive at Orlando International after a somewhat interesting flight. Now we're waiting in the line for the Magical Express, which has been neither magical nor express-like. Oh well, the airport has a wireless connection which allowed this post to be created.
